For the last several months, my hearing has grown worse. Yes, my primary doctor said I had earwax. Who doesn't? But the nurse could not remove it, and suggested I up the dosage of Debrox, which I was already using. No improvement.
I decided to search for an audiologist prior to calling Miracle Ear or such. I'm not averse to hearing aids, but thought I'd consult an audiologist first. I googled local audiologists, and recognized the name of Dr. Lyon Greenberg, who has offices in Albany and Troy. A doctor by that name removed David's tonsils at Child's Hospital in Albany when he (David of course) was 5 years old. I remember Dr. Greenberg as being young and helpful. When the nurses indicated that it wasn't necessary for me to stay in the hospital overnight, Dr. Greenberg said what do you care what anybody else thinks. He's your kid, so stay if you want to. So I did.
Since he would have been an ENT doctor, I thought this might be the same doctor. I googled, and found that Dr. Greenberg has been practicing for 61 years and is 86 years old.
